Authentic NES Title Menu SFX
A downloadable SFX for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
What is this sample pack designed for?
Coming up with authentic sound effects for your 8-bit game can be difficult, either because it's hard to bend retro sound chips to get them to do what you want, or because you may not have the patience to design them yourself. Use these sounds to take care of the main menu section of your game.
This pack should cover the basic sound functionality of moving the menu selector (SELECT), going forwards (START1/START2) and backwards through menus (BACK), or the player unsuccessfully trying to select mysterious options that aren't available (DENIED1/DENIED2).
If you can spare the money, please consider supporting this project by paying for it. It gives me an incentive to continue developing more retro sounds outside of basic menus ... it also furthers my own efforts to carve a path for myself in the music industry. Thank you!

In non-legalese: in the credits section of your game and where necessary, tell them that the title screen sounds were made by HOFFY. It doesn't matter if your game is commercial or non-commercial: if you like it, use it.
